GDF Suez: new EWC agreement uploaded

After Suez Environnement was “de-consolidated,” GDF Suez amended its EWC agreements at the end of May to take account of the impact this exit would have on the structure’s scope.  Since the initial 2009 agreement was negotiated under the recast directive (about to be adopted then), the review doesn’t bring a lot of changes.  But it clarifies the link between the information and consultation procedures carried out at different levels and defines the procedure for negotiating and approving future amendments.  This article makes it available for Planet Labor’s readers, with a benchmarking view, and highlights key novelties.  (Ref.  130530)

Linking information/consultation procedures at different levels. Paragraph 4-5 of the consolidated agreement signed on May 29 is dedicated to this issue.  It provides that, “When a same theme is subject to an information/consultation procedure concerning representative bodies for employees at different levels (…), each of these procedures must commence within the same 6 week-long period.…
