Enel: Italian energy group publishes CSR agreement

Singed on April 27 by the group's management, the Filcem-Cgil, Flaei-Cisl, Uilcem Italian unions (see our dispatch No. 090504), Enel's Corporate Social Responsibility Protocol is mostly based on processes and structures which have been existing in the company for several years, except for the brand new EWC which is granted a role in the implementation of the agreement. The Corporate Social Responsibility Protocol (for a more detailed analysis, see our dispatch No. 090504) is based on ILO conventions that are usually used for CSR agreements (freedom to assemble, non-discrimination, prohibition of forced labor…) and recognizes that social dialogue is the main vector to spread these principle and their respect.…
