Published on 31 August 2022 à 11h07 - Update on 31 August 2022 à 11h03 Resources Since 11 August 2022, Scottish employers have had free access to a digital platform that contains a wealth of information to support employers who want to engage in tackling and ending the stigma surrounding mental health. The new platform, which contains advice and training as well as contacts and legal information, aims to help employers implement a culture of well-being at work. “Happier workforces create successful businesses – it’s a win-win for all involved,” said Kevin Stewart the Minister for Mental Wellbeing and Social Care adding, “This platform makes it easier than ever to achieve this, and I encourage companies across Scotland to get involved for the benefit of their staff and productivity.” According to data highlighted by the Scottish executive, businesses in Scotland lose more than £2 billion (€2.35 million) each year due to employee mental health issues. The government has noted that the pandemic has also significantly impaired workforce morale. In addition to this platform, Scottish companies can also connect to another portal called See Me In Work that was recently created as part of Scotland’s national program to tackle and end stigma and discrimination surrounding mental health.
