Great Britain: Standard Life Aberdeen seeks to reduce the environmental impact of teleworking

The Scottish asset management company plans to accelerate its carbon neutrality policy by reducing carbon emissions a further 50% by 2025. On 18 May the company announced a new plan of attack that includes measuring the carbon footprint of those employees who are working at home. Since the health crisis most of the company’s staff have been working remotely.

Prior to the pandemic, fewer than 1% of the company’s 6,000 employees teleworked, and now more than 95% work from home.
