Glassdoor: launches a French version of its recruitment and company ratings site

On Tuesday October 14, the leading U.S. recruitment site set up in 2008, Glassdoor, launched its French version. Based on its original idea of gathering anonymous employee opinions on salaries and companies, Glassdoor looks to offer transparency in the jobs market.

Glassdoor expands to France. On Tuesday October 14, Glassdoor launched a French version of its website.  Its first non-English implementation includes a site (www.glassdoor.fr), and both iOS and Android apps. Glassdoor was setup in San Francisco in 2008 and employs 300. It is considered a heavyweight player in the sector with 26 million members from the U.S., the U.K., Canada, India, and Australia. Highly successful in the sector, the company raised 50 million dollars in 2013 and deployed these funds to now operate in the European market.…
