The primary goal of the meeting was to create a global union network. The network will mostly work via email and will meet once a year at the EWC meeting. It will be composed by one representative from each organization, including unions from Brazil and Argentina, which were missing, and technical coordination will be done by a representative from the American United Auto Workers (UAW). The network will also be in charge of providing all the members with key information and of organizing joint and solidarity actions.
