Germany : lower Saxony, town-scale agreements in public service

After several weeks of strike, the trade union Ver.di and the town employers’ organization of Lower Saxony (KAV) have come to a compromise - on March the 15th - about weekly working time of 120.000 town officers. (Ref. 06255)

After Hamburg, Lower Saxony is the second region to have found an agreement on a town scale. The negociations between the towns and Verdi in Bade-Würtemberg should also be brought to a conclusion.…
