Katrin Büttner-Hoppe, Verdi’s negotiator, explained to Planet Labor that the agreement provides for an aid scheme dubbed a ‘fund against the pandemic’ (Pandemie-Fonds), which is open until 31 December for the employees most affected personally, socially or financially by Covid-19.
