Spain: a draft collective agreement concluded for the banking sector that also frames remote working

On 29 January the Asociación Española de Banca (AEB – Spain’s banking employers association), together with representatives of the CCOO, UGT and FINE trade unions concluded the broad outlines of a new banking sector agreement, which introduces rules over remote working by including the general framework that was defined by official decree and approved on 22 September 2020 (c.f. article No.12135). In addition the agreement address issues such as the role of employee representatives in corporate CSR policies and it also puts a profit sharing scheme in place.

Introduction of a remote working framework. The agreement takes up the requirements from the general framework (voluntary, reversibility).
