Spain: Inditex keeps Zaragoza logistics centre up and running thanks to volunteer staff who will work two days

Trade unions and management of the main logistics centre of Spanish clothing giant Inditex, which owns Zara, have struck an agreement on how the site’s operations will be curtailed during the total shutdown of the Spanish economy until 9 April, as decreed by the government. Initial figures indicate that almost half of the 1,700 employees have put themselves forward to work, according to the unions.
