Spain : an agreement to reform vocational training

On February 7, 2006, social partners (CEOE and CEP for employers, and UGT and CC.OO for trade unions) and the Minister of Labour reached an agreement on vocational training for employment (AFPE), which reorganizes the vocational training system. (Ref. 06165)

Twenty years after the national Plan for training and professional integration (1985), the third national application agreement has expired. Within the framework of this renegotiation, social partners and the government followed the hot lines enacted by the European strategy for employment and have launched a reform of the vocational training system.
