Ryanair: social unrest forecast for the summer

Leading low-cost airline Ryanair is facing a torrid summer of social unrest. On 05 July trade unions from Belgium, Italy, and Portugal representing Ryanair cabin crew staff announced strike action for 25 and 26 July. Irish aircraft pilots have also set strike action for 12 July. Buoyed by the pilots’ success in securing union recognition for this worker category, cabin and ground staff are now coordinating at both international and European level
