France: the affiliation with the paid holiday insurance scheme of the construction & engineering sector is binding to the employer even if the headquarters are abroad

Enforcing the European law, the Supreme Court of appeals pronounced a judgment in respect of the employee’s protection, which concerns the obligation for a foreign company to contribute to the paid-leave insurance scheme of the construction & engineering sector for its employees working on the French territory.
