EU: publication of the 2nd edition of the Social Justice Index

For the second consecutive year, the Bertelsmann Stiftung, a liberal foundation, published, on 27 October, the results of its annual social justice index. The index allows for comparison of equal opportunities (poverty, education, labour market, etc.) in the EU’s 28 Member States. France comes 12th in the ranking, ahead of Lithuania and Great Britain, and just a few points above the European average.
