ITUC World Congress/ Battle for leadership of the International Trade Union Confederation sees clash of differing views of trade unionism. From 2 to 7 December, 1200 trade unionists, representing workers from 132 countries, are brought together for the fourth ITUC World Congress in Copenhagen, Denmark. The congress will involve a vote on the body’s working programme for the next four years and the election of its secretary general.
